Shelden Geary, Perry, was driving on W Ave and stopped for the stop sign on 240th St.  Mr. Geary pulled too far forward while waiting for traffic to pass.  A box truck traveling on 240th St, knocked the bumper off Mr. Geary’s vehicle when it passed.  The truck did not stop and the driver is unknown.  No injuries were reported and damage was estimated at $2000 to Mr. Geary’s vehicle.

Jerry Miller, age 69, 822 Williams St, Perry, was arrested on a warrant for Violated Probation Terms.

Jackson Gillingham, Waukee, was traveling north on Hwy 169, when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a house, causing extensive damage to the house on Walnut street in Minburn and a vehicle parked inside the garage.  Mr. Gillingham was transported to Methodist Hospital for treatment.  The house and car on Walnut street sustained an estimated $19500 damage.  Mr. Gillingham’s vehicle sustained an estimated $10000 damage.

Guy Shay, Howard City, Mi, was traveling east bound on I80 near the 113 mile marker when the frame of the trailer he was pulling failed and the trailer became detached from the truck.  No injuries were reported and Mr. Shay’s trailer sustained an estimated $4500 damage.  The trailer was towed away by Dan’s Towing.

Michael Blake, age 34, 802 Grand St, Guthrie Center, was arrested on a warrant for Theft 5th Degree.

Derrick Dillard, age 35, 100 Orlando St, Greenville, MS, was arrested for Operating While Under The Influence.

Christopher Brophy, age 33, 2711 E Grand Ave, Des Moines, was arrested for Driving While License Denied Or Revoked and Possession Of Drug Paraphernalia.
